Bismuth Mainnet
The Bismuth Mainnet is Proof-of-Work based. A custom sha-224 algorithm is being utilized and optimized for GPU mining. Block time generation is 1-minute.

Bismuth Mainnet Mining
The biggest Bismuth mining pools are Eggpool and Coinsaurus. An opensource solo mining software is also available which is called KBKminer.

Hypernodes
The Bismuth Hypernode Side-Chain is Proof-of-Stake based.
We count 127 active Hypernodes with a total amount of active collateral of 3,750,000 BIS. That’s a decrease of 47 active nodes since the last report.
The plot below shows all Hypernodes, both active and inactive. As can be seen from the plot, the number of Hypernodes is currently at 343, up by 1 node since the last report.
The plot below shows the total Hypernode collateral, both active and inactive. As can be seen, the total amount of collateral is 9.630.000. The total amount of BIS in circulation is 35,55 million. Hence, the amount of active collateral accounts for 10.5 % of the total supply, or 27.1 % if the amount of inactive collateral is included.

Hypernode Fallback Website
The Bismuth team has added a Hypernode fallback website.
The website Bismuth World provides comprehensive information about Bismuth staking and the Hypernode Network. It includes a list of Bismuth Hypernodes, statistics about Hypernode staking, and details about Hypernode collateral. The BIS staking requirements are listed, which include having an active Mainnet Node and an active Hypernode, along with a collateral of 10k BIS, 20k BIS, or 30k BIS.
The site also provides a link to the guide for Node installation and information about the total Bismuth supply. It gives a detailed breakdown of the Staking ROI, projected rewards, and BIS collateral for different levels of staking. The site also provides information about the number of active and inactive Hypernodes.
